Course Options: Senior Phase (S5 & S6)

The process for the selection of National courses, for current pupils who will move into S5 or S6 in the next academic session has begun.

A copy of the options choice sheet is linked here

Senior Options sheet

Information for young people:

  • You must use the google form, the link is at the bottom of this;
  • It's not a paper copy of your options that gets returned;
  • S4 going into S5 must select an option from every column;
  • S5 going into S6 must select an option in 4 columns
  • Private study is therefore an option for S6 only
  • Work placements etc can only be a provisional option at the moment, they were all cancelled this session due to lockdown. If we do not get confirmation that we can offer these you would need to select an alternative option.
  • If you are considering studying a Foundation Apprenticeship course there is a further application for you to do, selecting it as an option in the google form does not mean you have actually applied for the course.
  • The google form needs to be completed by Friday 30th April.

For example typing "National 3", "National 4", "National 5" or "National 6" will provide you with National course information guides for all subjects at that level.
