Vision - Virtute Crescam
To Grow in Excellence
We believe that as a community of learners, we all learn and achieve the best we can when we strive for excellence in every aspect of what we do.
Our young people, their families and our staff are encouraged to aim to become the best they can be whether it be in academic life, sport, vocational education or outwith school. To have others say you are good at something counts. Our vision is simple and true. Virtute Crescam – to grow in excellence.
Values – the pillars on which we build our school community.
Our learners, their families and our staff share a common set of values which underpin our vision. They make up the pillars in Grand Central – our Street area.

Our vision and values are agreed on after full consultation with our stakeholders and they last for a school generation. They will be revisited again in 2029.
We hope that we and our young people always do our best to live up to these, and that as a visitor to our school, you will recognise these during your visit.
