Welcome to the S1 Parent/Carer Platform
Dear Parents, Carers and S1 Pupils,
A very warm welcome to the S1 section of the Uddingston Grammar School website!
We have created this area as a central information hub for our S1 families, providing easy access to useful information, resources and updates throughout the year.
Here, we will share materials from S1 events, information evenings and workshops as well as information that may support you in helping your young person settle into and make the most of their S1 experience. For example, following an event, we may upload presentations, resources or information shared by school partners so that you can easily revisit these at a time that suits you.
We hope this platform will provide you with a useful 'one-stop' area for S1 information and help you to stay connected with what is happening throughout the year.
Please note, however, that this platform does not replace our established formal methods of communication. Important information, letters and updates will continue to be shared through our usual school communication channels- via ParentPay. Please ensure that you regularly check these or register if you have not. Details for this are in my letter below - S1 Welcome Letter - August 2026.
The School Calendar on the Uddingston Grammar School website is also an important resource and should be checked regularly for key dates, events and activities taking place throughout the school year.
We look forward to working in partnership with you throughout S1 and supporting our young people as they continue their journey at Uddingston Grammar School.
